Committee

Diane Atwell

I have lived in Kemerton for nearly 50 years and served on the Village Hall committee for almost as long! As my family grew, I served as representative of various organisations including Mothers & Toddlers, Youth Club, Theatre Club, Film Club and Gardening Club.

The hall is very much at the heart of the community and I look forward to it continuing to offer residents of Kemerton and surrounding villages the ideal venue for their activities.

Claire Barber

My name is Claire Barber and I have lived in Kemerton since 2018 with my dog Barney. We love long walks up the hill and around the village and supporting our pub and coffee house!

I have been involved with our lovely Village Hall since its refurbishment and look forward to being a part of its exciting future as the focal point for our village community.

Margaret Gillman

My name is Margaret Gillman and I have lived in Kemerton full time from early 2021, but shared my time between here and London from 2019. I live with my husband Michael and my dog Dido, who is often to be heard barking her “hellos” to passers by on Jobs Lane.

I have been involved with the Village Hall committee since 2022, and am keen to see the Hall remain at the heart of the village community in the years to come.

Rowan Hull

I have lived in Kemerton for nearly 20 years. I love the peace and the proximity to wonderful walks ideal for our Rottie Dolly.

The village hall is an important asset to the village. It is used regularly by villagers and those living nearby. Along with the pub, coffee shop and churches,  it is another venue to meet people which is extremely important in a small community.

Andrew Millington

My wife Lucy and our young children Cariad and William have lived in Kemerton since 2021, and feel very fortunate to have found such a welcoming community in this beautiful part of the world.

The refurbishment of the village hall was completed the year after we arrived here and is a wonderful asset for the village and the surrounding area. I joined the committee in 2024.

Tom Ryder-Smith

My wife Becky & I moved to Kemerton in 2020 having relocated from Barnes in Southwest London. I have two young boys, George and Jack, and our dog Rocket. I am a Chartered Surveyor and I run my own residential surveying practice, Ashton Woods Ltd.

The village hall is an important community asset used by a whole variety of clubs, societies & charities, and I hope to continue to help support the running of the Hall in the future.

Judy Woodman

I am Judy Woodman and Kemerton has been my home for the last 41 years. My three children grew up here, attending playgroup, Montessori and local schools. They and now my grandchildren, along with our dogs, love walks around Bredon hill. I also enjoy attending our village activities offered at the hall, Pilates, Garden Club, History society, Kemerton Lectures and the many social activities.

I joined the village hall committee for the second time in 2023 and enjoy being part of this crucial village asset.

Richard Pasco

Village Hall Manager

I’m Richard and I moved to Kemerton after 45 years in Gotherington. In addition to my role as Village Hall Manager, I also look after the Book Stop and the two village noticeboards. I also admin the Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram groups for Kemerton.

I run Tewkesbury Cat Sitting and in my free time enjoy walks on the hill or taking part in the pub quiz as part of the Beserkers team.
